Uneventful Year

Me again!

Hope you had great New Year and that the year continues to be as great for you. :)

2011 has gone by 2012 here. So far it seems to be as normal a year as it was for me last year. I didn’t take any New year’s resolutions. Or maybe I did…I’m not telling you. -_- But yes, I’m hoping for positive changes and I’m trying to implement them. For instance, look at my room… for the first time, it looks neat. It looks organized. It doesn’t look great but it’s as good as it’ll ever be. Just need to finish those creepers I was drawing on the wall.(Graffiti, don’t you just love it? :D)

I like to think of myself as a neat freak. Yes…but I’m lazier than I’m neat freaky so I might just be living in a dump J. But when I do get to working…I try to get stuff as neat and organized as possible. Ofcourse, that’s just what I like to think. You can make whatever thesis you like as long as you keep it to yourself. I know “freedom of speech a-blah a-blah and a- blah blah”…whatever, but if I don’t like your theory, I’m entitled to my own freedom of speech and….well, wouldn’t it be better to avoid such a war of freedoms?

It’s been a real long time since I’ve updated this blog. My deviantArt account is doing slightly better. The backpages of my notebooks are filled with scribblings, doodles and drawings and my hard disk is filled with unfinished works . Slowly, it will come to light, I hope.

For now, let me give you a glimpse of the backpages of my notebooks. 

Some of these have been digitalised...some are just waiting there...some have been scrapped. I'll let you know more next week :) Ciao!

Photochips and Creative Juice

If you've bin following me on facebook, you already know, that I've just made a an account in deviantART.com.

I've posted a few of my works and i hope people see and comment and criticize etc. That would really be nice :)

Anyways, this is a picture I made in response to another deviants post that said, "you clicked it. you do it". =D That sounds so funny, wen its out of context. Now, putting the line into context, I had actually clicked on a picture of cute anime girl that was titled "What I'm wearing". I have to say, that picture was just too cute. anyways, i decided to draw me in what i was wearing at the moment and and result is as you can see here :)

What I'm wearing is my favorite bright orange Hummer T-shirt, which a lot of peoplke hate cuz its oversized (too bad for them, that's exactly the reason why I like it so much :P ) and my fav green jeans.(Go Green!!!)

I just love the expression on my face :D. Hehe! I'm working on some chibi expressions and hopefully I'll be able to post them soon. With or without colour....I mean...it depends on my mood really. 

Oh! and that reminds me...I'm in some real trouble right now with the drawings. Lilblack is having some problems and I can't rely on him to make my pictures into digital format anymore. I'm also cut off from the scanner cuz I'm back in college, where for the moment, due to lack of proper co-ordination with room exchanges and any semblance of good luck, I've been cut off from having a decent place to lay my head at night :(

Fireworks under Construction.

Hey! How u holdin up? I'm alright, thanks for asking.:)

Exams are over. But my headaches are not. Will figure it out somehow. I hope.

In todays post I wanna just say a few things I'm planning on doing in the near future. Actually three main things...

I've been thinking of changing the looks of the blog a bit and I've come up with a crude hand made design, which I think is perfect because I'm not really looking for sleek...rather something like rough and appealing. Unfortunately, my command over html or css codes aren't exactly...ummm....u know what I mean? Again, I'll figure it out somehow. Hopefully my neighbor, who is a Comps student, can help me a bit with that, so I'm not really alone in this. Maybe next week or so, I'll post a picture of the basic layout as I wish it to be and you can comment on that before I really go ahead and change the current layout. What say?

Second thing...its a little question for you. Do you remember Shorty?

Making Shorty took time and I wanted it to look as good as possible. As a result it changed a lot during the formation and it really wasn't just all me. Without the valuable advice from a good friend of mine...I'm pretty sure, Shorty wouldn't have looked half as good as it does now. With "The Making of Shorty", I hope to explain the little things and the big things that made Shorty what she is. And I know the description I've given for Shorty hasn't been too self explanatory, I'll try to go into more details on that. So? What Say?

Ok. Now, here's the main point of the three. . . You may have noticed that todays post hasn't included a drawing.(Yea, I know did...saying "You may have noticed" somehow sounded cooler to me :P). Well, you see, I haven't completed my current project. Its called "Fireworks" and I'm done with the pencil drawing. Colouring and background is still left and I hope that'll be done soon. And so, to keep you interested, I'm gonna leave you with a teaser.

There are no sparks when I think of you, its fireworks baby!! 

Gods honest truth, this is the line that inspired the drawing. It was actually a facebook status update of a friend of mine. Wait for it. And when you see it, tell me how u like it. :)

She's good with sharp objects and better with fast objects and never walks without an array of CCW on her. She is also quite good with her hands and quick on her feet. Has a tendency to appear and disappear. Very handy for the kind of job she does.

Ambigrams Part 1

Hey there! I'm back!...again! And again I'm here, only to say I'm going to be soooo busy for another couple of weeks! End Semesters!!! What a nightmare! Plus I've still not got myself an industrial training and I don't even have an outline for the short story I'm going to send to the reliance writing competition and...and....AND I don't even know what else the heck it is, that is going on!!!


Haaah!! This is so tiring...

But, fear not! For I have been practicing a bit on photoshop so that my skills are a bit better now. So like now, I know how to create a custom brush AND I even know a few key board shortcuts. . . Aaaand, I'm getting better at using the pen tool!! :)
 So this time I'm gonna post an Ambigram. You know, reads the same upside and downside!! This one was pretty simple. Took me 3 minutes to design maybe....and half n hour to brighten up on Photoshop. 

Well, you can download it and rotate it and see if it reads the same or no. Hope you can figure what that reads and as usual, I'd love any comments. Thank You! :D
